AFC Leopards is celebrating its 60th anniversary with the Ingwe @60 Fan Fest, featuring matches, culture, and community service activities.

AFC Leopards have put tickets on sale for a landmark event, the Ingwe @60 Fan Fest, scheduled for March 30th as they commemorate their 60th anniversary.

The club started its birthday celebrations with grandeur, marking the occasion at various venues throughout Nairobi County last Tuesday.

The two-week celebration will reach its climax on March 24th, featuring a showcase match at Nyayo Stadium where a selected AFC Leopards team will go head-to-head with the fourth-tier team AE Ramassa.

This exhibition match is set to follow a nostalgic encounter between legends of AFC Leopards and their eternal rivals Gor Mahia.

In a move to embrace technology and convenience, the club has announced that tickets for the event will be available online.

"Celebrate 60 years of AFC Leopards culture, including food & drinks, fashion, and music. The dress code is an AFC jersey or attire that pays homage to Ingo culture. We encourage our fans to join us early and enjoy the special early bird ticket prices: Regular tickets are at KES 500," the club stated.

As the event draws closer, advance tickets will be on sale for KES 800 for regular tickets and KES 1,500 for VIP tickets, with the price at the door for VIP tickets rising to KES 2,000.

For those interested in purchasing tickets, the club has directed them to visit www.kenyabuzz.com or www.zippyevents.hustlesasa.shop.

The venue for this memorable event will be the ASK Jamhuri Showground, Main Arena, setting the stage for a day of rich cultural celebration.

It is important to note that the event is restricted to individuals over the age of 18.

The kickoff of the anniversary celebrations saw members of the senior team, Ingwe ladies team, and the junior team engaging in community service activities across different children's homes.

The first group, led by Ingwe@60 chairman Vincent Shimoli, visited Wamo Childcare with the senior team. Elsewhere, club patron Alexander Muteshi spearheaded a visit to the Shangilia Mtoto wa Africa Children's home in Kitusuru, sharing the joy of this significant milestone with the children there.

Additionally, the junior team made a heartfelt visit to Nile Road Special School, engaging in a charity match with the pupils and demonstrating the club's commitment to giving back to the community.

The day's events culminated in Shauri Moyo, Nairobi, at the home of Israel Mutoka, one of the club’s founding fathers. Here, the celebrations were marked by a memorable cake-cutting ceremony symbolizing the unity and enduring spirit of the AFC Leopards family.
