Following Ange Postecoglou's departure, Pulse Sports has provided a list of five players who could potentially leave Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur face the potential loss of several key players following the unexpected sacking of manager Ange Postecoglou.

Despite leading the club to Europa League glory over Manchester United just weeks ago, Ange Postecoglou was dismissed by chairman Daniel Levy.

The team's dismal performance in the Premier League is the main reason that led to his dismissal, overshadowing the Europa League silverware.

Tottenham Hotspur finished 17th in the Premier League, including a record 22 defeats. They only managed to win 11 matches out of their 38 matches played and drew in five.

According to The Telegraph, there is a reported potential player revolt within the Spurs squad, with many angered by Ange Postecoglou's dismissal.

The Australian manager was known for his close relationship with his players and staunchly defended them throughout a challenging 2024/25 season. Several players had publicly voiced their support for him amid rumors of his impending departure.

The Argentinian World Cup winner has already been linked with moves to Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid and following the Europa League victory, Romero was in awe of Ange Postecoglou's charges.

"I have no doubt that staying together led us to success. We must continue; this is the path," Romero said. Daniel Levy's decision might have altered the path, and Romero may now follow Ange Postecoglou out of Tottenham.

Pedro Porro

The Spanish defender was a vocal supporter of Ange Postecoglou and was even the first player to send a social media message to the tactician following the news that he had been sacked.

In a recent interview, Pedro Porro emphasised the manager's positive impact on the team and his belief that Postecoglou deserved more time.

"Him continuing would be good for the dressing room. He has built a very good group and coaches also need time. In the league things didn’t go well but he makes you win a trophy," Pedro Porro said.

“That’s important too. The people in the dressing room with weight have to understand that. I’m not going to lie, it did impact me to see [people say] they were going to sack him to be honest. I’m very close to him. He’s been an important coach for me and it’s thanks to him that I have brought out my best football these two years."

Son Heung-min

Tottenham captain Son Heung-min recently extended his contract until 2026. However, speculation persists about his future, with interest from Saudi Arabian clubs.

Ange Postecoglou appointed Son captain, making him only the third Spurs skipper to lift a European trophy. Despite his legendary status at the club, Son's decade-long tenure at Tottenham could be nearing its end.

Davies' contract expires at the end of June, and the Welshman has confirmed no ongoing negotiations for a new deal. The new Tottenham manager will face a crucial decision regarding Davies' future.

Davies said, "I don’t think there is anything to update, to be honest."

Ange Postecoglou personally persuaded the young Frenchman to join Spurs on loan from Bayern Munich in January, amidst interest from other clubs.

With Postecoglou's departure, Tel's future at Tottenham is now uncertain, despite the club holding an option to buy him permanently.
