Ferdinand Omanyala is set to boost his bank balance significantly after sealing a four-year endorsement deal with an Italian firm valued at close to Ksh10 million.

Africa’s fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala has added another brand to his growing list of endorsement deals having signed a multi-million contract with an Italian tech company.

Omanyala has had a high affinity for brands with companies like CFAO Motors Kenya (formerly Toyota Kenya) Visa, Adidas handing him deals and now, Italian tech firm Tecar had joined the list.

The 29-year-old has signed a four-year deal with the firm which will improve his performances by aiding his recovery after his numerous flights around the globe.

Omanyala’s new partnership will take him up to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics and according to Mozzart Sport, it is worth €60,000 (Ksh8.8 million).

What Does Omanyala Expect from His New Deal?

Ferdinand Omanyala has added an Italian tech firm to her list of endorsement deals.

“We have partnered with an Italian-based company that produces a recovery machine called Tecar. It’s designed to boost performance and help with recovery, especially after long flights, by removing jet lag. It uses different modes and works through electromagnetism to activate muscles and the neuromuscular system to perform at its best,” Omanyala told Mozzart Sport.

“I’ll be using it with my team every time I travel, all the way to the 2028 Olympics. We spent three days here working with experts to have it customised specifically for me. It’s truly a game changer,” added the African record holder regarding the device, which reportedly costs €50,000 (Ksh7.4 million).

Omanyala will hope that his new deal boosts him to a first sub-10 performance of the season soon after coming close at the Rome Diamond League last weekend.

The Commonwealth champion clocked 10.01, his second-best performance in 2025 after clocking 10.00 at Botswana Golden Grand Prix, as he finished third behind American Trayvon Bromell and Cameroonian Emmanuel Eseme, who timed 9.84 and 9.99 for first and second places respectively in the Italian capital.
