A track insider has opened up on potential tensions at the Star Athletics Club where both Sha’Carri Richardson and Jamaican upcoming sprinter Alana Reid train together alongside other athletes.

In the past few weeks, Reid revealed how she is learning a lot from the world’s fastest woman, Richardson, but it seems like the American does not like her presence at Denis Mitchell’s camp.

Richardson, a celebrated track athlete for her prowess and unapologetic demeanour has found herself at loggerheads with Reid, however, the events have raised eyebrows about the underlying dynamics.

Maverick Oral Tracey recently shed light on the unease between the two athletes and according to him, Richardson appears dissatisfied with Reid’s presence in the camp, hinting at underlying friction.

“Reid’s team thought that her training at the camp would be good but I heard that Richardson is not happy about it.

“Speculations say that she has been showing Reid some kind of attitude. However, Reid’s relationship with Terry is okay because they have competed against each other a lot more,” he said in a video posted on his YouTube Channel.

In addition to that, a cryptic post by Raes Take TV on X (Twitter) has added fuel to the fire, stating that while external factors may evolve, specific individuals remain unchanged.

The post read: “I mean. Times change. Seasons change. Clothes often do too. But some people don’t.”
