Youngster Letsile Tebogo has broken his silence following his mother's demise as he celebrated his birthday, sharing a heartfelt message honouring her.
Botswanan sprinter Letsile Tebogo celebrated his birthday on Friday, June 7, and his mother’s death still feels fresh like it happened yesterday.
The world 100m silver medallist took time to appreciate his mother for always being her rock and also revealed that she had bought him an early birthday gift that they would unveil together during his D-day.
Tebogo shared a photo of his late mother Seratiwa Tebogo, as they had just purchased the vehicle and noted her mother’s love for orange.

The 100m race appears not to have any favorites at the upcoming Paris Olympic games, and Bolt has given his prediction as to who will win the Olympics.

The 21-year-old revealed their plans and how his mother had promised to be there and cheer him on during the Paris 2024 Olympics.
In a lengthy post on Facebook, the world 200m bronze medallist said: “Today was supposed to be the day we unveil this beast to the people, but it was an early birthday gift.
“Crazy how you wanted us to buy a GD6 because you loved orange plus the Rosa Associati Management Company so it made all sense to you. Nna ne go ikela kwaa hela . I didn’t know that it was the last beautiful memory that we will share together in the year 2024.
“So much we had planned for and now you are no more. Still remember the last conversation that we had over the phone telling me that “Paris we are gonna be together, whether I like it or not “.
“It doesn’t even feel like my birthday anymore I don’t think I will enjoy it anymore o ntshile bogolo kabe o eme nyana. my support system manager. I love you so much mom.”
Meanwhile, Seratiwa lost her life after a short illness and she will be survived by Tebogo and her 12-year-old sister.
Tebogo’s mother has been a pillar in the youngster’s career and supported him all through and her demise will definitely leave a huge gap in his life.
