The 2023 Diamond League final ended with the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, USA over the weekend with top athletes clashing with the hope of clinching the top prize.
Double world record holder Faith Kipyegon, 110m Hurdles world record holder Tobi Amusan, Gudaf Tsegay, and double world champion Noah Lyles were among the athletes in action.

Harambee Starlets arrived in Cameroon brimming with optimism for crucial WAFCON qualifiers against formidable Cameroon.
The track and field action now takes a break and will resume next year and athletes are now able to know the 2024 Diamond League Meeting calendar.
The first meeting will be held in Xiamen, China on April 20 and then the second leg will also be held in China in Shanghai on April 27. The Diamond League will then proceed to the Meeting in Doha, Qatar on May 10 before proceeding to Rabat, Morocco on May 19.
The fifth leg will be the Prefontaine Classic, held in Eugene, USA before proceeding to Bislett Games to be held in Oslo, Norway on May 30. On June 2, the Meeting will be held in Stockholm, Sweden before proceeding to Paris, France on July 7.
The Meetings in Monaco and London will then be held on July 12 and July 20 respectively. On August 22, the Meeting will be held in Lausanne then proceed to Chorzow, Poland on August 25.
The Diamond League will then proceed to Florence, Italy to be held on August 29 before proceeding to the Meeting in Zurich. The final Diamond League Meeting will then be held in Brussels, Belgium from September 13 to 14.
