Viktor Gyokeres Ends Relationship with Portuguese Girlfriend Amid Premier League Push
Viktor Gyokeres, the Swedish striker targeted by Arsenal and Manchester United, has reportedly broken up with his Portuguese girlfriend, Ines Aguiar, as he seeks a move away from Sporting Lisbon.
According to Portuguese outlet TV Guia, the couple split before Viktor Gyokeres departed for a vacation in Greece.
Speculation about their relationship had been mounting after Ines Aguiar was absent from the wedding of Viktor Gyokeres's teammate, Morten Hjulmand.

Aguiar, reportedly close to Hjulmand's new wife, vacationed separately in Formentera, Spain, while Viktor Gyokeres went to Mykonos.
What Did Viktor Gyokeres Tell Ines Aguiar
TV Guia, citing a source close to Viktor Gyokeres, reports that the striker told Aguiar he "doesn't want anything tying him to Portugal," having already decided to leave Sporting.
While Aguiar was reportedly prepared for the news, she was also disappointed, as she was said to be quite fond of Viktor Gyokeres. Neither has publicly commented, and they still follow each other on social media.
This breakup comes amidst a tense transfer standoff between Viktor Gyokeres and Sporting. The club is trying to maximise his transfer fee, while Gyokeres has been linked with a move to the Premier League.
He is reportedly refusing to return to Sporting, unhappy with comments made by club president Frederico Varandas.
Varandas stated that Sporting is 'calm' and does not 'need' to sell Gyokeres but is 'sensitive' to his desire to leave.
While acknowledging a likely departure, Viktor Varandas insists the fee will be significantly higher than the reported £60 million plus add-ons, claiming Gyokeres is worth more than Matheus Cunha, who joined Manchester United for £62.5 million.
Viktor Gyokeres, whose contract runs until 2028, scored an impressive 54 goals in 52 club games last season. His prolific form has attracted interest from both Arsenal and Manchester United, who are looking to bolster their attacking options.
Gyokeres previously played under current Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim at Sporting, where his goals helped the club win the league title.
