The previous editions were held in 2019, 2021, and 2022, and this year, the Kenyan capital city welcomes the competition once more.

Sugar millers have ended Kenya's top-flight rugby division unbeaten.
The competition serves as the Africa U20 Championship and will be played from April 22 to April 30 at the Nyayo National Stadium and Kenya's Chipu are expected to enjoy the home advantage.
The championship is expected to bring together eight of Africa’s leading U20 sides, battling it out for the overall title and a ticket to this year’s World Rugby Junior Trophy, which also takes place in Nairobi in July this year.
Zimbabwe, who are defending champions, lead the Nairobi edition charge, as do last year’s beaten finalists Namibia.
Madagascar, Uganda, Zambia, Tunisia, and the Ivory Coast will also be participating as Kenya compete as the host nation.
