In addition to the elite amateurs’ action, KCB will be hosting two golf clinics for ladies and juniors on Friday afternoon and Sunday morning, respectively.

Action in the KLGU Open will tee off at 7:10 a.m., with Susan Ngure and Keziah Korir off the first tee. Also, in the field are former winners, Catherine Oosterwijk, Eleanor Wambui, and Agnes Nyakio.

From Vetlab, the KCB East Africa Golf tour will move to Eldoret Sports Club for the second leg on April 22, before landing in Limuru on April 29.

Speaking on the event, KCB Group Director Marketing and Communications, Rosalind Gichuru expressed her excitement towards partnering with KLGU to host the event.

“This sponsorship speaks to the tour’s goal of expanding the reach of the sport of golf across the region. This is why we will also be hosting a women’s clinic on Friday and a Junior clinic on Sunday, to expand the reach of the sport. In addition to this weekend, we will be hosting another two ladies-only events during the tour,” she said.
