Harambee Stars forward Ryan Ogam has opened up about his future at Tusker following his good show at the CHAN 2024 tournament.
Harambee Stars striker Ryan Ogam will not hurry into a decision over his future amid speculation linking him away from his club Tusker FC.
Ogam has been one of the bright spots in the Harambee Stars during the 2024 African Nations Championships, scoring two goals that turned out to be match winners against Morocco and Zambia.
That has seen his stock rise with clubs in Kenya and beyond reportedly keen on signing him but the Tusker forward wants to choose his next club carefully before a decision is made.

Boniface Muchiri Shares How Benni McCarthy Will Soon Turn Harambee Stars Into a Major Force

“Yeah, I know that there is so much being said now, but I still remain to be a Tusker FC player,” Ogam told Telecomasia.net.
Ogam Opens Up About His Tusker Future
“There have been rumours before, and there are even more at the moment, but it is not in my mind. My focus now is on the CHAN and doing well for the country. After this, I will look at everything that is there and a decision will be made. I definitely will get the best decision for my future,” Ogam said just before Kenya’s elimination from the tournament at the quarter-final by Madagascar.
With Kenya’s tournament now over, Ogam is set to look at the offers on the table with a return to Tusker looking unlikely as he was already considering an exit even before the CHAN 2024 tournament.

Harambee Stars skipper Abud Omar has spoken about their disappointing exit from the CHAN 2024 tournament while making a big promise to fans.
Ogam came close to leaving Tusker in January for Algerian club USM Alger but even after the move failed to materialise, the forward’s desire to join paid ranks abroad did not end and he has enhanced his reputation further with his performance at CHAN 2024.
It remains to be seen if Ogam will choose to stay in Africa or move to Europe as he is reported to be keen on joining the latter.
