The brewers will aim to continue their rich vein of form as they square off against record champions Gor Mahia.

Tusker FC goalkeeper Brian Bwire feels his side is ready for the game against Gor Mahia at Nyayo Stadium on Sunday.

The brewers are putting in the final preparations for a potential Football Kenya Federation Premier League title-deciding clash.

The two teams met earlier this season, where Gor Mahia walked away as 2-1 winners against the defending champions.

“Everything is going well. We’ve also been doing well in training. We are ready for the game against Gor Mahia,” said Bwire.

Bwire has also called on the fans to rally behind the team, adding that the players will put their best foot forward and claim the three points.

"I thank our fans for the continued support and I call on them to come in large numbers and bring all your energy to the stands. They will be happy for the results,” he added.

In the first-leg encounter between the two sides, midfielder Sydney Wahongo gave Gor Mahia the lead in the first stanza before Shami Kibwana found an equaliser in the second half.

However, Benson Omala scored the winning goal for K’Ogalo from the spot in the closing stages of the encounter.

Tusker are on top of the league standings with 64 points from 30 matches, while Gor Mahia are second with 63 points after playing the same number of games.

If the brewers win, they will extend their lead on top of the table to four points with three matches remaining to the end of the season.
