Harambee Stars forward Moses Shumah scored a brilliant goal to help his side Power Dynamos beat Ugandan champions Vipers in the CAF Champions League.
Harambee Stars striker Moses Shumah was instrumental for his club Power Dynamos as they took a giant step towards qualifying for the group stages of the CAF Champions League.
Power Dynamos secured a 2-1 win away to Ugandan champions Vipers in Kampala on Sunday and the Kenyan striker had a big impact in the game.
After the home side went ahead in the 47th minute through Yunus Sentamu, Shumah is the man who started the comeback for the Zambian champions as he scored a wondergoal in the 53d minute.

Shumah Shows Great Quality with Wonder Strike
A ball floated into the box was not dealt well with by the Vipers defence and Shumah waited for it to bounce before firing home from a tight angle at the back post to bring his team level.
The forward celebrated the goal with the Kenyan flag in honour of the late Prime Minister Raila Odinga, who was laid to rest at his home in Bondo, Siaya county on Sunday.
Shumah’s goal gave Power Dynamos impetus and they kept pushing for a second which arrived 14 minutes from time in fortunate fashion as Vipers scored an own goal through Derrick Ndahiro.

Millions Awaiting Nairobi United if They Complete the Job Against Alphonce Omija’s Etoile du Sahel
Nairobi United are in line for a bumper prize money if they upset Tunisia giants Etoile du Sahel and reach the CAF Confederation Cup group stages.
Dynamos Coach Keen to Complete the Job
Victory gives Power Dynamos a massive advantage as they have two away goals which means Vipers will need to win 2-0 in Zambia to make it to the group stages of the competition.
“This result gives us a big boost heading into the return leg in Ndola. The boys showed great character and belief. We have won the first half of the tie, but we must remain focused and finish it off at home,” said Power Dynamos coach Oswald Mutapa.
Shumah, who joined the club ahead of this season after emerging as top scorer in the FKF Premier League, has shown good form for the Ndola-based side and will hope to continue in the return leg match this weekend.
