Morocco vs Tanzania - How it happened

Morocco began on the front foot and the initially resilient Tanzanian defense weathered the storm in the early stages.

Youssef En-Nesyri missed an early chance, but Romain Saïss capitalized on Hakim Ziyech's free-kick rebound, giving Morocco a 1-0 lead.

Despite Tanzania's defensive efforts, their task became harder when Novatus Miroshi received a red card.

Azzedine Ounahi seized the opportunity to double Morocco's lead, and En-Nesyri secured the third goal.

Tanzania managed to limit the damage despite being reduced to 10 men, but the Atlas Lions got an opening result that will send shockwaves throughout the tournament.
