Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes could leave the club in the coming days following reports that his agent held talks with a club willing to offer him a big-money contract.
Manchester United might be about to lose their most prized asset following reports that Bruno Fernandes’ agent held talks with Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal this week.
Fernandes’ future has been thrust into the spotlight after he admitted he would be ready to leave if that helped United improve following their worst-ever Premier League season that saw them finish 16th and also miss out on the Champions League after their Europa League final loss to Tottenham Hotspur.
United are left looking at the possibility of selling their most important players to raise funds for a squad rebuild and Fernandes, who could generate over or close to £100 million, might be one of those to leave.
