Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has informed other managers how to be succesful.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has once again attributed his managerial success to the exceptional footballers he has had throughout his career.

The Spaniard is on course to become the first manager to win a European treble twice and is regarded by many as the brightest mind in the game.

Pep has, again, refused to accept the plaudits, suggesting that he is only as good as the talents he has at his disposal.

What Guardiola said

The former Barcelona boss spoke in the pre-match press conference of Manchester City's Champions League final clash against Serie A giants Inter Milan when he was asked for the secret of his success.

The former Bayern Munich manager responded comically, saying the key to becoming a successful manager is to have good players.

He went on to name Lionel Messi and Erling Haaland saying the Argentine was the reason for his previous successes, while the Norwegian I'd delivering the goods now.

"Have good players," Pep said.

"I had Messi in the past and Haaland now. This is my success.

"I am not joking, this is the truth."

Meanwhile, Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana has said that Manchester City will feel most of the pressure ahead of the Champions League final in Istanbul.
