Gor Mahia unveiled two new players from Ghana but one of them has left fans with more questions than answers.
Gor Mahia unveiled two new players from Ghana on Wednesday as they keep bolstering their squad ahead of the new season but one of them has left fans unconvinced.
K’Ogalo signed midfielder George Amonno and winger Ebenezer Adukwaw with both players handed two-year contracts by the record Kenyan champions.
Adukwaw has joined Gor Mahia after a successful spell at Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League, where he flourished with his pace and dribbling that saw him create chances for his team-mates.

Amonno’s Stats that K’Ogalo Fans Are Worried About
Amonno made 66 appearances for the club, scoring three goals while providing as many assists, as per Transfermakt, while his last game for them was in June 2024 against Madeama.
Since then, he has been a free agent, as he failed to secure a club for the 2024-25 season and Gor Mahia have now offered him a chance to kickstart his career under Ghanaian coach Charles Akonnor.
However, Amonno’s lengthy period without a club has left Gor Mahia fans unsure if he is what their club requires as they bid to regain their lost glory.
“You couldn't even name his former club,” one fan commented on social media while reacting to the player’s unveiling. “From Ghana alone is not enough. Which club?” was the other question.

Gor Mahia then received transfer advice from some of their supporters. One fan said: “Make sure you only sign quality players from outside [Kenya].”
“When you sign a foreign player, make sure he's a real professional. He is in the club to play and win matches. Just go for two to four quality players, field and pay them as per the contract.”
