England coach Thomas Tuchel believes Arsenal and Liverpool will have a Premier League advantage next season.
England head coach Thomas Tuchel has expressed concern over the potential impact of this summer’s extended FIFA Club World Cup on Premier League teams, predicting that the full consequences may only become clear next summer.
With Chelsea and Manchester City both set to compete in the revamped tournament, Tuchel believes that clubs not involved, such as Arsenal and Liverpool, will benefit significantly in the 2025/26 Premier League season.
The new Club World Cup format, scheduled to take place in the summer, will see Chelsea and Man City play a minimum of three games in the group stage and up to seven matches if they reach the final.

"I think it will be a very nice experience for the players who are there, to play this tournament for the first time. So it is mixed feelings about it."
