The Thika-based outfit put up a spirited fight but could not find a way to get one over Gor Mahia.

Bidco United head coach Anthony Akhulia has revealed his biggest worry after his charges drew 0-0 with reigning league champions Gor Mahia at the Kasarani Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Thika-based outfit put up a spirited fight but could not find a way to get one over Gor Mahia despite creating a couple of chances that should have given his charges all three points.

Akhulia admitted the lack of goals is starting to worry him, as there are games where being more clinical would have won them more points to even put them higher up the table than they currently are.

“We are creating and defending well but we are not banging goals and I am getting worried because of that,” Akhulia said.

“If we are getting draws, 0-0, it means we are defending well but we need to up our game offensively in terms of scoring and then see if we can get a win in our next match.

“We will work on it to see how we can get that goal-scoring touch then see if we can get goals in the next match.”

His sentiments do make perfect sense. After eight games, they sit sixth in the division on 11 points, but they have found the net just five times this season.

Bidco have drawn each of their last two matches, with the game against Murang’a Seal also ending in a 0-0 draw.

They will be hosting Muhoroni Youth on Wednesday afternoon hoping to get that clinical edge that could leapfrog them higher up the league table.
