In the BAL, Al Ahli defeated APR, while MBB beat the Thunder.

The BAL Nile Conference resumed at BK Arena in Kigali, where Made By Basketball (MBB) of South Africa defeated Nairobi City Thunder of Kenya 75-74.

Pieter Prinsloo scored a game-high 30 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, while Teafale Lenard Jr. contributed 20 points, six rebounds, and five assists.

MBB overturned an 18-point deficit in the second half and it came down to a thrilling three-pointer from Robinson Opong, his second in the game, to get Sam Vincent’s club one-point ahead with just over three seconds left.

Tylor Ongwae had 20 points and Evans Ganapamo with 21 points led the Thunder, but they were only shooting 36% from the field and were unable to maintain their lead in the fourth quarter.

As MBB searches for a spot in the forthcoming BAL Playoffs and Finals back home in Pretoria.

It was their first victory in the competition while the Thunder (0-3) are still without a victory after three games in Kigali.

Al Ahli Tripoli of Libya defeated APR of Rwanda 90-68 in the second game to become the Nile Conference's sole unbeaten team.

Obadiah Noel and Chasson Randle each scored 18 points for APR, who were without Aliou Diarra due to injury, while Jean Jacques Boissy and Naseim Badrush combined for 52 points, 11 rebounds, and six steals for Al Ahli.

APR lost their opening match in the campaign, while Al Ahli leads the Nile Conference after three games.

On Thursday, the BAL will resume with APR playing MBB and Al Ahli playing Nairobi.
