In his latest tweet, Lyles said: “I hope you all ready for fireworks at Prefontaine Classic.”
Lyles has been unbeaten so far this season in both the 100m and 200m and extending the hot streak will be his target. He will only be competing in the 100m where he will lock horns with familiar opponents.
He will be up against Africa’s fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala who will be seeking to end his season on a high. Lyles has defeated Omanyala in all the races they have competed in and the American will be looking to repeat the same sequence.
