Fred Kerley has shut down an angry X (Twitter) user who was comparing his personality to that of Noah Lyles.

The 2022 World 100m champion Fred Kerley has clapped back at an X (Twitter) user who thinks he lacks charisma and has no name outside of the track.

The argument started when Kerley told Trayvon Bromell, his fellow American sprinter that they would not go to any camp but they would just show up and be on the relay.

This comes following his beef with triple World Champion Noah Lyles, who was included in the 4x400m relay team at the World Indoor Championships, something that did not sit well with Kerley.

An angry fan who seems to be in support of Lyles, fired back at Kerley saying: “Fred is a great athlete, but he has no charisma or personality. His interviews are juvenile and no one knows him outside of T&F (Track and Field).”

The Olympic silver medallist did not hesitate and answered him back saying: “I don’t think dude name came out my mouth.”

Another user commented on the same saying: “Noah saved the relay. The first 2 legs on qualifying relay ran 47 and 46 pt.!! He helped them run faster as well. Better silver than empty handed.”

The angry fan then further replied to Kerley’s message saying: “It's true bro. I respect you, but you have to market yourself. In 5 years when you're not running and the sponsors are gone then what?”

Kerley replied to him with another clap back saying: “I’m good outside of track I know who I am. And I good inside track. Don’t let this track ish get you from real life ish if you want to talk business holla me. But business booming baby.”
