According to Google, Omanyala's net worth is Ksh 700 million but he has refuted the claims.

Many netizens are definitely curious to know the net worth of Africa’s fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala and according to Google, his net worth is currently worth Ksh 700 million.

However, he refuted the claims by Google about his net worth but disclosed that as an athlete, he has made a lot of money from the sport.

Of course, there is money…When you get to the top level there is a lot of money you make out of event appearances…you are paid to appear in races and all those other kinds of stuff.

My net worth according to Google is 700 million but that’s a lie…a very big lie,” he said.

Speaking about his actual net worth, Omanyala was reluctant to say the exact amounts and jokingly said: “The truth about my net worth is within me.”

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old’s net worth is definitely somewhere around those figures owing to the millions he makes in races.

Only this year, Omanyala has made over Ksh 20 million thanks to his hard work which has paid off well. He has been to five Diamond League Meetings, finishing in the podium bracket in all the races.

He also competed at the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary where he finished seventh but also earned good money from the global showpiece. He won the Kip Keino Classic earlier this year and also pocketed a good amount of money.

He started his indoor tour with impressive performances, losing only one out of the three races he was competing in. It was during his indoor tour that he handed Olympic champion Marcel Jacobs his first defeat of the season.
