Ferdinand Omanyala is gearing up for an electrifying performance at the Kip Keino Classic, set for next weekend.

Africa's fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala has boldly promised fans an unforgettable experience at the upcoming Kip Keino Classic set to light up Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi on Saturday, April 20th. 

The Commonwealth Games 100m champion, known for his electrifying performances is gearing up to deliver yet another thrilling run in what has become one of the most anticipated events on the athletics calendar.

Having etched his name in history with a blistering African best of 9.77 seconds at the 2022 Kip Keino Classic, Omanyala is entering the season's first 100m race with confidence.

 "I don't want to promise a fast time, but I am ready for another year of epic athletics showdown," said Omanyala in an interview with France 24.

The move back to Nyayo National Stadium is adding to the fervor, as spectators eagerly await the showdown between Omanyala and a lineup of formidable opponents. 

Among them is the Olympics 200m silver medalist, Bednarek, who, despite a sixth-place finish in his 2022 debut,has been in formidable form this season racking up victories in the United States.

Adding intrigue to the competition is the debut of Cote d’Ivoire’s Arthur Cisse a formidable competitor with an impressive resume from international competitions, including the Tokyo Olympics and African Championships. 

Kenya’s own Mark Otieno, making a comeback after a two-year doping ban, is also among those vying for glory, eager to make an impact in front of a home crowd.
