Benson Kipruto has revealed his next race as he continues building up to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games where he intends to make history.
Reigning Tokyo Marathon champion Benson Kipruto has already unveiled his next race as he seeks a great build up to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Kipruto was selected to join defending champion Eliud Kipchoge, reigning London Marathon champion Alexander Mutiso and reserve Timothy Kiplagat in the Paris 2024 Olympic Kenyan team and just like his compatriots, he has plans to impress.
In his build up, the former Boston Marathon champion will be competing at the AJ Bell Great Manchester run on Sunday, April 26.

Kipruto has enjoyed a great start to his season and proven to be consistent in marathon running since his debut. He beat Kipchoge and Co at the Tokyo Marathon to start his season on a high and he hopes to continue the winning streak.
In a past interview, he disclosed that he will also be in the hunt for a win at the Olympic Games, meaning he will be out to stop Kipchoge from making history at the event.
At the AJ Bell Great Manchester Run, the 2022 Chicago Marathon champion will be competing in the men’s 10km and he will be up against a strong field as well.
Kiplagat will be in the mix, also looking to shine. His confidence is certainly boosted after he was named in the Olympic marathon team and he will be banking on that to do well at the event.
Vincent Ngetich, the man who tormented Eliud Kipchoge at the 2022 Berlin Marathon will also be racing at the event. Ngetich finished second behind the four-time London Marathon champion, and he was just but making his full marathon debut.
Australian long-distance runner Jack Rayner will also be in the mix, out to stop the Kenyan dominance with the Ethiopian charge being led by Mosinet Geremew.
