Victor Osimhen: Ex-Arsenal star advises Super Eagles striker to make PL move to emulate Drogba's legacy

Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian striking sensation currently making waves at SSC Napoli, is on the radar of England's top clubs, with his impressive goal-scoring prowess drawing comparisons to Chelsea legend Didier Drogba. 

The 25-year-old forward, fresh off a stellar 26-goal haul in Serie A, has been the subject of intense transfer speculation, linking him to Premier League giants like Arsenal and Chelsea.

Despite committing to Napoli until 2026, the buzz around Osimhen's potential move to England is growing, fueled by his high market value and proven track record as a top-tier striker.

Emmanuel Adebayor, a former Premier League star with stints at Arsenal, Tottenham, and Manchester City, has openly expressed his desire to see Osimhen ply his trade in England. 

Speaking to BBC Sport via Goal.com, Adebayor said, “He has the right attitude, mentality and determination to excel there (in England). I'm praying for him to move to the Premier League and show what he's capable of.

The Premier League is the toughest and best (league) in the world. Osimhen has shown and done it already in Italy, I think it is the right time for him to move to England and replace his idol Drogba and do beautiful things. He has all it takes to make a name and write a great chapter in England like Drogba.”
