Despite all the success, from her Breaking4 attempt to breaking the world record again, Faith Kipyegon is not backing off as she continues chasing more glory.

She revealed that she can still break the world record if she puts in the work, and that remains a priority on her list.

“The season has been so good, and it has been a really beautiful journey towards Tokyo, starting with the 1000m in Xiamen and then going for Breaking 4 and then going to Eugene,” Faith Kipyegon revealed.

“I was not expecting to break the world record in Eugene, but I believed in myself and knew that if I crossed 3:49 when I was doing the four-mile barrier, I knew I was still capable of lowering the record.

“It was really nice and a great experience, and I believe there is room for improvement as well to still run under 3:48. I keep on pushing the world record.”
