Serie A giants AC Milan continued their preparations for the new season with another impressive outing in pre-season.
Nigerian forwards Samuel Chukwueze and Noah Okafor played a crucial role as Milan and Novara played a six-goal thriller.
The Rossoneri 4-2 to return to winning ways ahead of the new season.
Chukwueze and Okafor shine
Nigeria Super Eagles forward Chukwueze and his compatriot Okafor were both on target for their new club.
Chukwueze, 24, opened the scoring as early as the ninth minute to give Milan the lead before Noah doubled the advantage seven minutes later to put the Serie A side in a comfortable position.
Navara pulled one back through Niccolo Corti to half the deficit at the break.
Davide Calabria restored Milan’s lead 10 minutes after the restart but Luca Prinelli pulled back a second goal for the Serie C side eight minutes from time.
Milan would seal the deal when Lorenzo Colombo added a fourth in the 89th minute.
Milan return to winning ways
With the victory, the San Siro giant ended a run of four matches without a win having lost two and drawn two.
It was their final game of the pre-season, with Chukwueze and Okafor looking ready for the start of the Serie A.
Milan will kick off their season on the road as they take on Bologna next week Monday.
