The transfer is reward for an excellent season, where the 24-year-old shone brightly in Villarreal colours, scoring six goals and contributing five assists in the league.
Milan have brought in exciting new faces and the hope is that Chukwueze can lead the charge to wrestle the Scudetto from Napoli next season.
Rohr speaks on Chukwueze's Milan move
Former Nigeria national team boss Gernot Rohr has spoken about Chukwueze's move to the Serie A.
Rohr, who is now head coach of the Republic of Benin has lauded the 24-year-old's qualities while also noting that the former Villarreal man has the tendency to dwell on the ball a little too much.
Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Rohr said:
“Chukwueze has significant skills and a good shot, but his most important quality is undoubtedly one-on-one ability.
“He always manages to get past opponents, creates numerical superiority, and consistently takes on defenders. Perhaps he does it too much, but he will certainly entertain the fans.”
Chukwueze was spectacular during his time in Spain, winning the Europa League in 2021 and most recently being named LaLiga African MVP.
