Ex-reUNITED! David De Gea and Cristiano Ronaldo set to link up as Al Nassr target hitched goalkeeper
Former Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea could become the latest superstar on his way to Saudi Arabia this summer.
De Gea could be reunited with former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nasse in the Saudi Pro League.
The 32-year-old has become a free agent following the expiration of his contract at United last month.
De Gea to join Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia
According to a report from Daily Mail, the Spanish goalkeeper has emerged as a target for giants Al Nassr.
De Gea remains in talks over a new contract at Premier League giant United but could be tempted with a move to Saudi Arabia.
Al Nassr are reportedly considering making a move for the goalkeeper which would see him be reunited with former Manchester United teammate Ronaldo.
38-year-old Ronaldo joined Al Nassr last winter following an acrimonious departure from Manchester United late last year.
Now, the Portuguese superstar could link up again with De Gea who is set to pocket £250, 000 per week should he swap the Premier League for Saudi, as per the report.
That will see him earn more than what United are said to be offering him to keep him at Old Trafford beyond this summer.
De Gea made 545 appearances for United following his move from LaLiga side Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2011.
He recently got hitched to his long-time girlfriend as reported by Pulse Sports Nigeria.
