Kylian Mbappe Drops €55 Million Harassment and Extortion Case Against PSG
Kylian Mbappe has dropped his legal action against PSG for alleged moral harassment and attempted extortion, for which he was claiming €55 million.
The move comes just hours before his current team faces his former club in the Club World Cup. However, according to L'Équipe, he is continuing his appeal before the labour court.
This aspect of the dispute has strained the relationship between the player and the Parisian club as Kylian Mbappe claimed he had an agreement to leave PSG without any transfer fee, something the club disputes.

Kylian Mbappe Lawsuit Against PSG Progress
The €55 million case will likely be decided by the labor court. In April, Kylian Mbappe and his lawyers announced they would pursue all available legal avenues to win the case, which began last year when PSG allegedly failed to pay Mbappé bonuses and wages totaling that amount.
Last month, the Paris Enforcement Court lifted a precautionary embargo on PSG's accounts, a request made by Mbappé's legal representatives.
The court deemed it lacked the authority to impose such a sanction and that another judicial body should decide the matter. The case withdrawn by the player on Monday is separate from other ongoing legal actions against his former club.
The two parties recently faced each other in court over an outstanding debt stemming from Kylian Mbappe's departure. Ligue 1 and French sports judicial bodies have ruled on various appeals, with the matter seemingly at a standstill. However, the player's decision to drop this particular case may ease some of the tension.
