Kvaratskhelia's father reveals reason son should leave Napoli with Victor Osimhen after EURO 2024
The futures of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Victor Osimhen at SSC Napoli remain in doubt after the former's father revealed why his son has to leave the club this summer.
In a bombshell revelation, Khvicha's father has stated that he does not want Khvicha to stay in Napoli after EURO 2024.
Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen
The Georgian superstar, 23, joined the Serie A side in 2022 and formed a deadly partnership with Nigerian striker Osimhen as they fired Napoli to their first league title in 33 years.
Kvaratskhelia contributed an incredible 28 goals in goals and 14 assists in the historic run, but the attacking duo and Napoli failed to defend their crown following a disastrous 2023/24 season.
Now, despite claims from the Napoli board that only Osimhen will be allowed to leave, Khvicha's father has revealed the real reason why his son must depart the club this summer.
"He worked with 4 different coaches in 1 year, this worries me a lot — he will decide for himself, although it's uncomfortable for me," he said per the post.
The father also admitted he hasn't discussed the issue with Khvicha yet, adding: "I'm not going to until the end of the Euro 2024."
This latest development is sure to set alarm bells ringing at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, with Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen now both expected to leave Napoli in the coming months.
The two stars have been heavily linked with moves to Europe's top clubs, with the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester City and Bayern Munich all rumoured to be interested alongside Arsenal and Chelsea for Osimhen.
Napoli fans will be devastated to see their star duo depart, but it seems Kvaratskhelia's father has already made up his mind - his son MUST leave the club this summer.
