The incident, caused by an unusual disruption in her warm-up routine, sparked concerns that her storied journey might end on a bitter note.

However, the sprint queen refused to let the setback define her, choosing instead to return in 2025 for one last season, with her sights set on the World Athletics Championships in Japan.

“It’s such a great feeling when something goes wrong, and you’re not getting it right, but then that consistent and persistent drive that you have, you get it right the next time. I think those lessons have been things that I’ve used not just in track, but in life. It teaches me that just because today is bad means that tomorrow is going to be bad. It can be good,” Fraser-Pryce shared as per SportsKeeda.

The 37-year-old revealed that training sessions, and the steady improvements they brought, would be what she longed for most when her spikes are finally hung up.
