Former Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama, Denis Onyango (Uganda), and Mrisho Ngasa (Tanzania) unveiled the new trophy for the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN), PAMOJA 2024.
The reveal comes ahead of the tournament, which Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania will co-host from August 2 to 30, 2025.
The three legends appeared in a special video to mark the occasion, emphasising the trophy's significance and its reflection of African football's values.

This unveiling is part of a broader rebranding of the TotalEnergies CAF CHAN, PAMOJA 2024, highlighting the tournament's cultural significance, unity, and footballing excellence within the African football landscape.
Speaking during the unveiling of the trophy, Victor Wanyama, a former Tottenham Hotspur and CF Montreal midfielder said: “The land of Harambee, we rise together.”
CHAN 2024: Details of the Trophy
The sleek, modern trophy blends gold and silver, representing the prestige and growing stature of the CHAN tournament.
Fifty-four lines encircle the trophy, each representing one of the continent's member associations. At its centre lies a map of Africa, symbolising the competition's pan-African nature.
This design embodies the tournament's core values: unity, diversity, and progress. Each line symbolises the unique journey of African football, built on passion, skill, and the dreams of generations of players and fans.
The TotalEnergies CAF CHAN, PAMOJA 2024 trophy represents the competition's evolution and its ongoing contribution to the growth of football on the continent.
CHAN 2024: Harambee Stars Campaign
Harambee Stars are in Group A of the CHAN 2024 tournament, and will be up against two-time champions DR Congo and Morocco.
Harambee Stars will also take on Zambia and Angola, with all their matches scheduled to take place at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani. Harambee Stars will begin their campaign against DR Congo on Sunday, August 3.
