“There’s no update on that at the moment. He had a personal issue to attend to and we’ve not sort of pursued that, as yet. But there may still be a possibility,” Neil Lennon said as quoted by the Courier.

Lennon added that although it was the middle of July and just a few weeks remained before the league season began, there was still plenty of time to bring in the necessary players.

“In terms of the number one spot, if you want to call it that, we’re still looking at the minute. We’re still looking for a striker, a centre-half and a wing-back.”
Neil Lennon admitted that, ideally, he wanted some players with more experience, knowledge, and physicality to add something different to what they already had.
“But it’s not an exact science. We want to get good players in who will help us challenge for the Championship,” he said.
Dunfermline Athletic’s current signings include Kearney (21), Alasdair Davidson (19), Rory MacLeod (19), Alfons Amade (25), Charlie Gilmour (26), and Zeke Cameron (18).
