As the CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN 2024) draws closer, fans from Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania are looking to have the time of their lives.

For the first time in history, CHAN 2024 will be co-hosted by three East African countries, from August 2 to 30.

The 45,000-seat Mandela National Stadium, located in Namboole, Kampala, will host all Group C matches, which comprise Uganda, Niger, Guinea, South Africa, and Algeria.

In Tanzania, the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam will host Group B matches featuring Tanzania, Madagascar, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, and the Central African Republic. The Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar will host Group D matches featuring Senegal, Congo, Sudan, and Nigeria.

In Kenya, the Moi International Sports Center, Kasarani and Nyayo National Stadium will host the matches and you might be asking yourself the matches that will be played in the latter.

While Harambee Stars will be dazzling at Kasarani, the iconic Nyayo National Stadium is also primed to host some of the most thrilling battles of the tournament that will feature Africa's other elite homegrown talents.

Harambee Stars will not be playing their group stage matches at Nyayo National Stadium. Their entire Group A campaign is set to unfold at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.

However, a revamped Nyayo National Stadium, and officially handed over to the Local Organising Committee (LOC), will also be a place you will want to be. The Nyayo National Stadium will host a select Group A matches and the Group C clash between Algeria and Nigeria.
