Harambee Stars’ youngest player in the CHAN 2024 squad has promised to show everyone why he was selected after making the cut into the final 25-man team.
Austin Odongo just completed high school last year but from this week, he will be donning the national team jersey in an international tournament.
The 19-year-old Shabana FC attacking midfielder is among the players who made the cut into coach Benni McCarthy’s final squad for the 2024 African Nations Championships (CHAN 2024) that kicks off in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania this weekend.
Odongo is the youngest player in Kenya’s CHAN 2024 squad and he is ready to repay the faith that McCarthy has shown in him with scintillating performances on his biggest stage yet.
