Benin Arsenals show NPFL clubs how to unveil new signings

Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, team Bendel Insurance has confirmed their first signing of the summer.

Pulse Sports Nigeria can report that the Benin Arsenals, Insurance, have signed Paul Obata ahead of the new season.

The club announced the deal through their social media account on Saturday.

The club noted that the player had put pen to paper after moving from fellow NPFL side Gombe United.

Obata was also unveiled by the club, with some nice graphics and optics that other NPFL clubs will do well to replicate this summer.

Insurance also posted a video of the player as he spoke to the club’s media in his first interview.

“Paul chose Bendel Insurance and departed Gombe United, being recommended by the brethren unto the Benin Arsenals,” the club posted on their Twitter account.

Obata, who is a winger, joins the club and is looking forward to helping the Arsenals achieve their goals next season.

“For me, it's a great privilege to be in the Bendel Insurance team,” he told the club’s media.

“I believe it is a great privilege for me to showcase myself and to help the team to achieve their goal.”
