Al-Hilal target Jose Mourinho after Messi snub
Saudi Professional League side Al-Hilal are reportedly keen on landing Roma boss Jose Mourinho and are set to meet with his representatives.
Although the former Chelsea boss still has a contract with the I Gillarossi until 2024, his continuation beyond this season is in doubt, with the 60-year-old said to be unhappy with the club's leadership.
He has been previously linked with the PSG managerial job, and now, he is said to be wanted by the AFC Champions League finalists.
Mourinho on Al-Hilal's radar
According to Foot Mercato, the Saudi club have set their sights on Mourinho after losing out in the race to land Lionel Messi.
Following the PIF acquisition of the top four clubs in the SPL, which includes Hilal, bold moves have been made to acquire top European talents.
This has seen Karim Benzema move to champions Al-Ittihad and N'golo Kante nearing a move to the same club.
Al-Hilal are reportedly willing to offer the Portuguese a lucrative contract and will give him free rein over squad building.
The Ivory Coast international's contract with Crystal Palace expires at the end of the month, and he will become a free agent.
