Kenya proved too strong for their visitors as they dominated them in all areas to record the huge win in Nakuru.
Kenya Simbas won their second match in the Currie Cup First Division Mzansi Challenge following a 48-7 thrashing of Zimbabwe Goshawks at the Nakuru Athletic Club on Saturday.
Simbas raced to a 29-7 lead at halftime after a brace of tries from Alfred Orege and Jeanson Misoga with George Nyambua also going over the line, added to two conversions from South Africa-born Ntabeni Dukisa.

The Goshawks’ persistence in Simbas’ half yielded fruits as they landed their first try which was converted to reduce the arrears.
After the break, Samuel Asati went over the line for another try in Kenya’s favour, which was converted for a 36-7 lead, before Orege completed his hat-trick with an unconverted try for 41-7.
Simbas did not give Zimbabwe Goshawks a sniff in their territory and reserve lock Hibrahim Ayoo would score their final try, Dukisa converting for the 48-7 win.
The manner in which Simbas deconstructed their rivals will delight coach Jerome Paarwater who has been hoping that the countless hours on the training ground would yield not only a positive result but a brilliant performance.

Simbas have played six matches so far and have only managed one win while Zimbabwe have lost six of their matches.
It was a good response for Paarwater’s men who will move further up the table, having risen to sixth, following their 35-28 defeat to Welwitchsias last weekend.
Simbas headed into Saturday’s match high on confidence given they have come a long way since their opening match, when they lost 32-22 to San Clemente Rhinos, before falling 18-7 to Eastern Province Elephants, both from South Africa, last month.

Simbas conceded a last-minute, well-converted try in the dying minutes of their Mzansi Challenge Cup against the Namibians.
They would secure their first win this month by beating another South African side Boarder Bulldogs 30-26 before the narrow loss to the Welwitschias.
