RUGBY Oluoch returns for Shujaa's Hong Kong, Singapore 7's legs

The Hong Kong leg is set for March 31 and April 1.

Jeff Oluoch has expressed his excitement upon returning to the Kenya 7s squad and is keen to make a mark as the team heads out for the Hong Kong and Singapore legs set for late March and early April.

Oluoch will be making his first start of the season’s World Rugby Sevens Series.

“It feels good It feels good to be back with the team. I’ve been putting in a shift and it feels good to be back. There are massive expectations from everyone but we know the boys won’t let you down,” Oluoch said.

Oluoch also appreciated the fans and promised that the team will do their best to display better results going forward. Shujaa are in Pool D in Hong Kong alongside New Zealand, Ireland and Australia.

“We thank our fans for the support…we still need you for the coming assignments and we are sure we’ll earn our slot and keep the side afloat as a core team,” he said.

Oluoch recently became a police officer after passing out from the Administration Police Training College.

Meanwhile, Johnstone Olindi also returns to the squad for the first time since the Dubai and Cape Town rounds of this season’s series.
