The former Tusker FC forward remains grateful for fan support as he navigates a challenging start at Wolfsberger AC.

Harambee Stars striker Ryan Ogam has thanked fans for their support since he completed his dream move to Austrian Bundesliga side Wolfsberger AC on September 1, 2025.

The transfer, for an undisclosed fee, saw the highly-rated forward move from Kenyan Premier League club, Tusker FC, signing a contract that runs until June 30, 2028.

Ryan Ogam’s explosive form with Harambee Stars at the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), where his two match-winning goals impressed Wolfsberger AC’s scouting team.

Ryan Ogam: Support From the Fans Has Been Overwhelming

However, Ryan Ogam has struggled for minutes this season, prompting supporters to voice their frustration on the club’s social media pages and call for the former Tusker FC striker to be given an opportunity.

Since Peter Pacult was appointed head coach on October 13, 2025, Ryan Ogam’s involvement has diminished further, with the coaching transition doing little to aid his integration into the team.

He was a substitute in his first match for the club, as Wolfsberger AC won 3-1 against Grazer AK under coach Dietmar Kühbauer.

His only start came in the Austrian Cup against SKU Amstetten on October 29, 2025, where he was substituted at halftime after 46 minutes.

Notably, Ryan Ogam has yet to make even a substitute appearance in the league under former coach Peter Pacult.

Although he made the bench for Peter Pacult’s first two Bundesliga matches against SV Ried and Sturm Graz, he remained unused and was subsequently omitted from the squad entirely for the next two fixtures.

Ryan Ogam admitted that spending time on the bench has been frustrating, but the support from fans has encouraged him and strengthened his belief that better opportunities lie ahead.

“I would say it’s really nice to have people support me even though I’m on the bench, and that is not a good thing sometimes, but they have supported me consistently. It is good pressure, and I appreciate that a lot,” Ryan Ogam said.

The Harambee Stars striker will be looking to get more starts following the arrival of new head coach Ismail Atalan.
