Harambee Stars skipper Michael Olunga has offered a further glimpse into his upcoming MOFA Sports complex by displaying the state-of-the-art gym at the facility.
Harambee Stars captain Michael Olunga continues to update his fans regarding the facilities at his upcoming state-of-the-art sports complex.
Olunga is constructing a modern high-performance centre in Homa Bay County, where his foundation academy MOFA is based, and he has been giving his social media followers a sneak peek of what is coming up.
Having revealed that the complex will have two pitches, a seven-a side and 11-aside, which will be laid following international guidelines, Olunga also opened the doors to the modern gym at the complex.
The former Tusker FC and Gor Mahia striker was thrilled that the ultra-modern gym is now fully-equipped and will soon help players improve their fitness levels with much ease.
Olunga Thrilled to Offer Best in Class Facilities
“Isn’t it a big surprise? Like I mentioned earlier, we want this to be a top facility where our players and people who are going to be nurtured here are going to have what world class players have,” Olunga said in a clip that he has shared on social media.
“We want it to be an integral part of our academy because for the longest time, our players are not exposed at a young age to these kinds of facilities and we want to bring them closer,” he added, affirming his desire to ensure the next generation of footballers have the best in class.
Olunga has been using his off-season to supervise the ongoing work at the multi-million sports complex which he fully funds as he mulls over the offers coming his way ahead of the 2025-26 season.
The 31-year-old is currently without a club after leaving Doha-based Al Duhail in May, following a four-and-a-half-year spell, when he exited as the club’s all-time top scorer with 130 goals, and recent reports have linked him to another Qatari club Al Arabi.
