Two more players are set to exit PSG for clubs in the Gulf, ending long spells with the club

Paris Saint Germain are set to lose two more stars after two midfielders agreed to deals to join Qatari sides.

PSG set to move players after transfer window

Despite the European transfer window closing at the start of the month, teams on the continent are still involved in sales of mostly out of favour team members.

PSG are one of the sides involved in offloading players to clubs outside Europe and are set to sell midfielders Julian Draxler and Marco Verratti to clubs in Qatar, whose transfer window remains open until September 18.

Draxler will reportedly complete a move to Al Ahli SC after rejecting a loan move to Crystal Palace when he returned to PSG from a loan to Benfica last season.

The German midfielder will sign a permanent deal with the Qatari side, officially ending his seven-year relationship with the Paris club, and moving out of Europe at only 29 years old.

Verratti is also set for a club exit, and will end his 11-year period in Paris with a move to Al-Arabi, also in Qatar.

The Italian is believed to be on his way out of Paris after PSG reportedly agreed on a deal with Al-Arabi worth between €45-€50 million.
