The legend slammed Manchester United’s poor Premier League form despite their Europa League success, calling their attitude disgraceful.

Manchester United put up a good fight to secure a 4-1 win over Athletic Club in the second leg of the Europa League semifinal at Old Trafford on Thursday night.

However, former Manchester United captain Roy Keane is still not pleased with their performance this season, especially in the Premier League.

Manchester United currently lies 15th, having only accumulated 39 points from 35 matches. They have won 10 games, drawn nine and lost 16 games.

Roy Keane, speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, Roy Keane reflected on how Manchester United have struggled to make an impact this season.

Keane slammed the management and players for not taking the matches seriously, ending up losing to teams that are not of their calibre.

He added that they keep dismissing the Premier League matches and end up losing a lot. In their latest Premier League match, Manchester United lost 4-3 to Brentford.

“They're getting on my nerves! They keep talking about, 'We've got a big game next week' and then they're not even trying (in the league),” Roy Keane said as per the Daily Mail.

“Ian Wright made the point that they've got a big second leg... they're 3-0 up from the first leg! You keep writing these matches off! I understand it's a big game for them, but you just dismiss these league matches?

“They're a disgrace, absolute disgrace. Disgraceful league performances - they should count their blessings. This United team can't compete! Losing 15 league matches it's a disgrace.”

Roy Keane revealed that it is like Manchester United let go of their Premier League chances a long time ago, and they are only focused on a trophy.

Former football coach added that now that Ruben Amorim has let go of Premier League hopes, the players have seemingly also lost their hope.

“United wouldn't be able to cope with an extra game? United couldn't cope with a game against f***ing Brentford?! They're 3-0 up from the first leg!” Roy Keane said.

“What happens next year if they're in the Champions League? Can your mindset only concentrate on one trophy? You just dismiss these matches?!”

Now, Manchester United face off against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League final match of the Europa League on Wednesday, May 21, at the San Mames stadium.

The Red Devils also have two Premier League matches before the Europa League final, going up against West Ham on May 11, then Chelsea on May 16.
