Harambee Stars coach Benni McCarthy has received a major plea from Orlando Pirates fans regarding the vacant coaching position at the South African club.
Harambee Stars coach Benni McCarthy has received pleas from fans back home to abandon Kenya and take up the Orlando Pirates job.
Pirates are looking for a new coach after Spanish tactician Jose Riveiro confirmed that he will be departing after Tuesday’s league match and McCarthy is among names that have been floated around as possible replacements.
This is due to his standing not just as a South African legend but a former Pirates player, who played a leading role in the club’s last league title in 2012.
