Heaven's £1.5m acquisition is already considered a steal, having quickly become a first-team regular.

Despite an injury interrupting his season, his standout performance against Hong Kong during the post-season tour has heightened anticipation for the 2025/26 season.

While Amorim has praised Heaven's performances at centre-back, often on the left of a back three, his former coach at Levels FC, Terry Bobie, suggests a midfield role is within his capabilities.

“He has so much potential," Bobie told the Daily Mail.

"I'm convinced he can play midfield for Manchester United, absolutely, if given the chance. It's still early, but once he gains more experience and confidence, I know he can thrive there. His passing range is incredible, absolutely crazy. He's also got a keen eye for goal. There's so much more to come if he feels comfortable enough to truly express himself.”

Bobie not only highlighted Heaven's exceptional passing ability but also drew comparisons to former United midfielder Paul Pogba.

Midfield Potential on the Horizon?

Recalling Heaven's time as a central midfielder at Levels FC, Bobie said, “He was a left-footed, lanky midfielder, but so good on the ball. He has that Paul Pogba-esque swagger.

"He never rushes, which you can still see today. He's so composed and plays at his own pace.”

Despite primarily playing as a defender at United, Heaven's versatility has not gone unnoticed.

Manchester United manager Amorim is known for tactical flexibility and a willingness to experiment, fans and pundits alike are eager to see if the 19-year-old will be handed minutes further up the pitch in the coming season.
