Shabana FC's fervent fan support shines as gate collections soar against Kariobangi Sharks, despite early season struggles.

Shabana FC may not have secured a victory yet in the ongoing FKF Premier League campaign, but their loyal fanbase continues to rally behind them, as evident from the impressive gate collections witnessed during Saturday's electrifying showdown against Kariobangi Sharks at the Raila Odinga Stadium.

The Glamour Boys managed to sell an astounding 4,160 tickets on Saturday, setting the stage for a vibrant matchday atmosphere.

VIP tickets were snatched up at Ksh 300 each, while the Regulars secured theirs for Ksh 100, leading to earnings of Ksh 346,500 from the VIP section and a formidable Ksh 300,500 from the regular stands.

In total, Shabana FC amassed a substantial Ksh 651,500, marking a significant increase from the Ksh 413,500 they earned in their previous face-off against Kenya Police FC.

The club expressed their gratitude, saying, "Asante sana for all those who made it to Raila Odinga Stadium, Homabay for our match. It was great seeing the Stadium painted red and white. Looking forward to more of that from our wonderful fans."

However, it is worth noting that in the previous match against the Police, there were complaints from the club regarding some fans who forcefully entered the venue, highlighting the passionate support Shabana enjoys.

In their opening match of the season against Murang’a Seal, Shabana set the tone for their exceptional ticket sales, raking in Ksh 600,500 by selling 4,363 tickets. VIP tickets continued to be prized at Ksh 300, with regular tickets remaining affordable at Ksh 100.

This pricing strategy has ignited immense interest among fans, even when the team is playing away from their beloved Gusii Stadium turf.

With such unwavering backing from their dedicated supporters, Sammy Okoth's men are gearing up to turn their fortune around and post positive results in their upcoming clash against AFC Leopards.
