Pamzo lost his second game in charge of Shabana against Ulinzi Stars, putting their Premier League relegation situation far from secure.

Shabana head coach Sammy Omollo “Pamzo” has revealed his side’s focus after his dream start to life there was brought to an abrupt end by Ulinzi Stars 1-0 in Got Alila on Saturday afternoon.

Ulinzi Stars were quick off the blocks, and they grabbed an early goal when a ball from new signing Leshan Mootian fell to the experienced forward Masita Masuta, who completed a beautiful finish.

Speaking after the match, Pamzo, who is tasked with keeping the side in the league by the end of the season, revealed he was not disappointed by his side’s display, appearing to suggest the loss was down ti bad luck.

“Overally, apart from losing the three points, I am not disappointed  especially in the second half,” Pamzo said.

The former Tusker and Gor Mahia coach has now revealed what his charges have to do if they are to remain in the league considering he has now gained three points from six possible ones thanks to his debut 5-2 victory over Nzoia Sugar.

“If we are playing at home, we have to ensure that we gain one point if worse goes to worst,” Pamzo said.

“If we go away, we have to ensure that we get all the three points, so in other words, every game I would say has to be a final for us moving forward.”

Shabana are sitting 17th on the log with 17 points after winning four games, drawing five while losing 10 times in 19 games played in the league.

They have won four games, drawn five, and suffered defeat in 10 out of the 19 games played in the league so far.

Pamzo, who has spoken highly of the importance of community clubs to Kenyan football, will be hoping he can return to winning ways and also get the side to become more consistent if they are to stay up by the end of the year.
