Oguta signed for Tusker after his mid-season transfer from Teens of Hope and is determined to make an impact in the side's last 10 games of the season.

Tusker FC midfielder Dennis Oguta has expressed his unwavering commitment to contributing to the squad's success while furthering his own career aspirations.

Oguta's recent inclusion in the team during the mid-season transfer window marks a significant milestone in his football journey, transitioning from FKF Division Two side Harvest of Hope.

Having caught the eye of scouts while playing for Teens of Hope in Busia County, Oguta's talent and potential were quickly recognized.

Reflecting on his journey thus far, Oguta,20, shared insights from his formative years, recalling the words of his school coach who instilled in him the values of hard work and perseverance.

"I am delighted to be here at Tusker because this is a big club," Oguta expressed in his first interview with the club.

"I am happy to get this chance and I will give 100 percent. It is a good opportunity and one that I really need in my career."

Despite the pressure that often accompanies joining a new team, Oguta has been warmly welcomed by his teammates and has acclimated well to his new environment.

He commended the supportive atmosphere fostered by head coach Robert Matano and his fellow players, acknowledging the progress he has made since joining the club.

"Looking at myself now and compared to when I came, I have really improved and there is progress," he remarked.

Acknowledging the stiff competition for a spot in the starting lineup, Oguta remains undaunted, expressing his determination to earn his place on the field.

"I am new and still learning so of course it will not be easy to directly get into the team, but soon I will be there," he asserted.

"I am fighting every day in training to get to that level that the rest are in. Seeing how I am training and the progress I am making, I know I will be there."

With the weight of expectations from his community and loved ones, Oguta is fueled by a desire to showcase his capabilities and make them proud.

"All eyes are on me and I don't want to disappoint them," he emphasized. "I have to push myself to work hard especially looking at where I am coming from."

As Oguta embarks on this new chapter with Tusker, fans eagerly anticipate witnessing his growth and contributions to the team's success.
