The forward comes in to strengthen Tusker's forward line.

Tusker FC's new signing Michael Oduor has revealed the reason why he opted to sign for the Brewers.

Oduor's arrival at Ruaraka was met with much fanfare given the amount of FKF Premier League clubs that were said to be interested in his services.

Upon putting pen to paper, the towering forward gave an insight into why he joined the 12-time league champions.

"All I can say is that joining Tusker is a big achievement because it is one of the biggest clubs in the country.

What convinced me to join Tusker is that there is much competition between players at the club and that the club aims to retain the league title.

I want to improve my game at the club. I do not want to put myself under much pressure here, but I promise to score at least seven goals at the club and provide around ten assists this season," Oduor said.

The winger joins Tusker from another top-flight side KCB FC, a club he joined in 2021 from Kariobangi Sharks.

Oduor, who also had a stint with Sofapaka FC, was unveiled at Tusker alongside defender Levin Odhiambo.

Odhiambo joins Tusker from Mathare United and comes in as a replacement for Isaac Kipyegon who remains suspended from football.

The duo is in line to make their debut for their new club on Wednesday when they take on Bidco United in a league match at the Ruaraka Grounds.
